  • Recipes: Post original, tried and tested recipes with instructions step by step. Put in information about the diet (e.g. vegan, gluten-free) and good photos of the finished meal. Whether it was from the family heirloom recipes to innovative twists on classic, we desire food that enacts narrative.
  • Food Stories: Based on true stories, write some personal essays about your relationships with food. It can be a childhood memory about a dish, a travel experience about a local cuisine, but it may also be a family custom that has been followed for generations.
  • Culinary Culture: Cooking Trends, Regional cooking, or how an iconic meal is made. Like, explore the roots of a favorite food truck or the case of a rise and a plant-eating diet.
  • Nutrition and Wellness: Provide science-edge advice on healthy nutrition, highlight an ingredient, or give a sustainable cooking method. Help difficult subjects become understandable to common people.
  • Travel or Restaurant Reviews: Bring the readers on a delicious tour by reviewing unusual cuisines or trip itineraries in some of the world-famous food places.

Submission Guidelines

The following rules should be followed to get through the submission process as seamlessly as possible:

  • Unique Content: All the works should be original, not published before (on personal blogs or social networks). We screen out plagiarism with such tools as Copyscape.
  • Word Count: 600 and up to 800 words. Recipes may be a bit short when there is a good story or context along the same lines.
  • Format: Articles are submitted in either a Word document or Google Doc. Ensure use of subheadings, use of bullets, and paragraphs that are not too long. Add hyperlinks to trusted sources (no footnotes) to fact check.
  • Images: Include at least one image that is high-resolution (with a width of at least 1200 pixels and less than 800 KB) to be used with your article. Make sure that the images you use belong to you or you use them under royalty-free platforms that give due credit.
  • Author Bio: You need to include a bio with your submission of 50-100 words, links to your blog or social media pages (optional).
  • Submissions: Because each magazine has specific requirements, pitch an idea first, rather than a complete article, before writing a full article. Present your idea, why we fit it, and you. We will write back to you 7-10 business days.

You can send your article to contact@quorablog.com

Guidelines to Effective Submission

Observe the tone and content of our blog and get to know it well. Take a look at several articles to comprehend what most of our readers are interested in.

Be Specific: Sell a story, not a subject. To take an example, instead of writing, I would like to write about Italian food, pitch, The History of Tiramisu: A Recipe and Cultural Journey.

Proofread: Your article should have no grammatical errors and typos. A well-edited work puts you in a better position of getting accepted.

Appeal to the Readers: You can appeal to the readers by setting food stories colorfully with visionary words. Never use cliched words such as delicious or tasty, but use words which describe such deliciousness.
